It has been over a week since I last wrote something and was having withdrawal symptoms. I was going to write about Quito but decided to write about transport: terrestrial transport can be a blessing or an absolute nightmare when we started this trip over 10 weeks ago we have come across proper chicken buses and then to the other extreme luxury lines which are best of the best and will put some European travel companies to shame.
Terrestrial transport is the lifeblood of Latin america as we are finding out. All kinds of people come and go. There are thousands of companies across the countries serving all economic levels. It can be tiring and boring sitting there for many hours on end but it can also be fun trying not to get lost.
