According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary
: the promotion of the consumer’s interests

I took this pictures in the lobby of a hotel at first glance is just a vending machine with a toy for kids.. also the cynical in me thought why is called the social good vending machine??, is this a consumerism trap or something else? so I did a research into the name and found that a charity has put vending machines for good use:
The Monar Association who deals with people with substance abuse social exclusion etc.. decided to use vending machines to raise money and re-invest in their social programs a good idea and different from your normal crowd funding and people in the streets asking for money for a particular charity.
In short the vending machines with gnomes (soft toys) in order to sell them and re-invest the income to support socially excluded people with substance abuse and homelessness history.
Moral of the story: Never judge a book by it’s cover.
